Back in 2007, the first thing I ever played on drums was War Pigs on my buddies Rock band 1 kit, on medium difficulty. From the instant I played that first blue cymbal note, I knew I felt something I’d never felt before. I spent more time playing Rock band and eventually moved up to expert difficulty, then bought a used drumset on Craigslist in February 2008. That was 17 years ago and I’m going to be 35 in a week, so this has been half my life up to this point that I have been playing drums, and it all started with Black Sabbath and Ozzy. I wanted to pay a small tribute to the man himself here, I wouldn’t be who I am without all this music that’s shaped me through the years and that all directly leads back to the prince of darkness, Ozzy Osbourne.
