(Incoming Long Post) As of today, I'm 27. For some reason, this is the first year in a while where my numerical age feels a little different, so I've decided to push myself in a way that I haven't in a while. For a long, long time, I've not been the biggest fan of my voice. I love playing music, and especially writing music, which is elevated with friends, but singing... Although I enjoy it, I don't like my own voice. It's something a lot of singers experience, and unfortunately, I'm one of those people. So, I try to hide my voice behind studio recordings, where I can polish it up as much as I can, or by being a background vocalist. This year, I've determined to stop hiding it, to embrace it, and to just enjoy myself, regardless of whatever quality, or lack thereof, I perceive of it.
