As someone who watched enough of LOTR through YouTube clips but never had the full picture. I'd say, it was alright. 6/10. having someone who knows the series well to banter with definitely made the experience better tho. The actors and singing were great. Golum carried the show, Gandalf had hella aura. and they did as much as they could with the set. but the props and the 'fights' missed the mark a lil for me. like where's the elf ears AT LEAST. Some say there's way too many songs too. well it is a musical after all. BUT HEY!
