Here are some June milestones for me 🥳 - 8 years ago I got my first handpan - 1 year ago I started my LLC - 500+ total invoices completed - I played my longest gig yet, 8 hours in the park for ICT Big Gay Market Thank you to everyone who has supported handpan in healthcare, education and the community over the past 5 years since I started volunteering at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. I truly believe the handpan belongs in these areas to bring peace and joy. ☮️🕊️ I couldn’t have made it this far without some important supporters. Many times I have thought about giving up but these places have helped me push through as they continued to support me. I’m so grateful for my longest supporters! 🙌❤️ Thank you to @ComfortCareHomes, Reflection Living Wichita, and Brookdale East Wichita! I’m grateful you see the impact the handpan has on your residents. I have been visiting these places regularly for 4 years and I continuously try to improve and add more to my offerings: learning 100+ cover songs, making song books, and adding drum circles to increase engagement. Music is medicine and the handpan is the best kind! 🛸💊 There are many others that have supported me in moments when I thought this wouldn’t work. Even if you just stop to tell me how it impacts you, it means a lot. Every day I feel blessed and grateful I can continue to share the handpan around Kansas.
