It's here! My attempt at fun, easy-going Summer music with a healthy dose of pessimism is wrapped in a little bow for you today. My main intention with this EP (mini-album) was to breathe some air into the animated side of the Grimson world. When I started making comics last November, I was surprised how much I missed allowing myself to laugh while still trying to explore emotional complex stories. The comics showed me the personality of these characters that inhabit the Grimson universe. Father, Feather and Roscoe all help me distance myself a bit from the game being played on the emotional basketball court. Instead, we get to have a little bit of cheeky fun, even at the expense of sacrificing my "indie alternative mysterious edginess" (thank god). I plan on working on this Grimson project as long as I'm here, and this EP is a little step into throwing some color and charm around. I hope you enjoy it!
