Nantucket island is such a special place and I feel so lucky to call it home all year round but the truth is I didn’t always feel this way. I grew up on island so it was never my “happy place” it was just my hometown. And as any small town girl knows, by high school you’re really really ready to leave. I genuinely thought I’d MAYBE come back for Christmas every year but of course everything I thought in high school has been turned on it’s head. I moved back to the island in 2016 as a way to make some money as barista at Handlebar but that’s when I met my husband. Fast forward nine years, we got married, built a house, I started my wedding photography business and now we have two adorable cats. I love seasonal life and feel so lucky to savor the beauty of summer and the solitude of winter here. I mostly share my coastal style on this channel as well as snippets of life as a wedding photographer living on Nantucket year round.
