We’ve been on a splash pad hunt this summer and these are thebest one we’ve found in the York Region! 💦 Frank Stronach Park 📍 500 Memorial Circle, Newmarket Very colourful and fun. It is large, has water river play, and is beside a small playground. There is shaded sitting areas and free parking. Dr. Margaret Arkinstall Park 📍 203 Sawmill Valley Dr. Newmarket This is the cutest farm themed splashed with a giant strawberry, barn, veggies and a hale bay sprayer. It is located beside a small little playground. Free parking on site. Rogers Spray Pad 📍 170 London Rd. Newmarket This adorable little train track themed spray pad is a cute one to visit. It features water blasters, a tower sprayer, dump buckets, tunnel and crossing sign. A little park is beside it with lots of space to picnic. Free Parking, splash pad is located behind the school. Riverwalk Commons 📍 200 Duncan Drive, Newmarket This is the perfect splash pad for littles. It has a wading pool vibe but it’s only a couple of inches deep. The rainbow waterfall is fun to run through and cool off. Real washrooms on site. Free Parking. Great location to explore the downtown Lake Wilcox Park 📍 55 Olde Bayview Ave, Richmondhill This adorable fish splash pad is so unique. There is a dump bucket, water blasters and fountains. Located beside a cute treehouse playground with a beautiful lil lake view. Paid parking in effect. David Hamilton Park 📍 311 Valleymede Dr. Richmondhill Great splash pad with lower water features for littles. Water Play table and water river. Located beside an epic beach themed playground. Parking located at the arena or nearby street parking. Sonoma Heights Community Park 📍 100 Sunset Ridge, Woodbridge This is a bug splash pad. Although the flooring is a little worn, it is fairly maintained. It has so many features at this under the se themed splash pad. Real washrooms on site. Alongside a cute playground (nothing too fancy) and a ton of sports fields. Free parking on site.
