People ask me all the time how they can make their handpan music more dynamic and interesting (both to play and listen to)🛸✨ here’s what I tell them 👀 👇 Your music should resemble / mimic the dynamic nature of life on earth… 🌎 Some things remain solid & constant “underneath” (like the earth itself): ✅ timing (keep it in solid 4/4 cycles at a consistent tempo, unless you wanna change intentionally of course) ✅ bassline chord progression (you can stay in one place like I’m doing here in this video, or you can move through 2+ chords in various ways). You can obviously change the chord progression but stay with the one you’re doing for a while (at least 1 or 2 cycles) until you wanna change “parts” or it’ll get too random and chaotic quickly Other elements dance and constantly change on top (like life itself - all of us and the animals etc) ✨ ✅ rhythm, feel & accenting within the cycles of time ✅fills and melodic runs (how you move through notes in between the main chords) 🪨 The constant elements keep you and the listener feeling like there’s solid ground underneath - you / they can relax into the music having certainty about the start / end of rhythmic & melodic cycles😌 🌊 The constantly moving elements feed our need for variety, keeping things fresh and intriguing as you go through the cycles of music ♻️🤩 I usually focus on including more melody movement and chord changes to keep things dynamic / interesting… But for this one I just felt like sticking in F Major and seeing what nuance and intricacy I could bring through it✨ Felt like it was a perfect example of keeping things constant + constantly moving😁🤙🛸✨❤️🔥 If you found this helpful drop “good vibes” in the comments (or send me a DM) and I’ll share more about my signature method for creating your own beautiful, healing (yet dynamic & interesting) handpan music for yourself & others🛸✨😌 #han#handpann#handpanmusicn#handpanmusiciann#hangdrumn#hangdrummusicn#handpanworldundhealingPeople Ask Me All The Sound Effects Free Download.
