ad• We had the most amazing day trip from Bournemouth to London with @National Express UK! 🚌✨ National Express travel is so affordable - did you know they have tickets from just £5.20pp one way, and, unlike train travel, you get guaranteed seats (you can even choose your specific seat for a small fee if you want, which we did and I highly recommend if you’re an anxious traveller like me). The leather reclining seats were so comfy with loads of legroom, especially with the aircon keeping us cool in this heat! Plus USB ports and free WiFi meant we could stay connected the whole journey and not have to worry about phone battery running out (so important when capturing content all day)! Neither of us had to stress about driving or parking - so much more relaxing and better for the environment too! I also love that there’s no booking fee when you sign up, and they have a very generous luggage allowance if you’re staying in the city or plan to shop lots whilst you’re there! London was looking absolutely gorgeous in full bloom. We started in Camden with cocktails to beat the heat, then had the most incredible curry and donuts from the market for lunch (there’s so much choice for places to eat, I was in my element). Walking along the canal to Little Venice was such a lovely discovery - there’s always somewhere new to explore in London! We spent the afternoon museum hopping. First up was the Natural History Museum, followed by the Science Museum right next door (and they’re both free!). We walked back to Victoria as it was such a nice sunny day, and took a quick Harrods detour as it’s such an iconic sight! The journey back was just as smooth as on the way in - only 2.5 hours door to door with plenty of departure times to choose from.
