From the sunny island of Florianopolis in Brazil to the pulsating metal scene in Berlin: The success story of Marcos Feminella. In 2014, Marcos came to Berlin to improve his drumming skills in our Pro Training course. As an experienced metal drummer with professional experience in his home country Brazil, Marcos dedicated one year with us to bring his drumming to a higher level by broadening his musical knowledge of different styles, various techniques, and, like the rest of us, he got his ass kicked by jazz independence. Soon, he became a popular member of our Drumtrainer marching band, playing shows across Germany, which inspired him to start his own incredible marching band that drums for animal liberation Drums Over Knives. Marcos' commitment and passion for music are infectious, and we're proud that he stayed in Berlin after his studies and became part of the international music scene. Here he is tearing it up on-stage at the legendary Wacken metal festival! We feel honoured to have been a part of Marcos' musical journey and help him start his life in Germany many years ago.
