Someone asked me the other day what it’s like having Cancer, I breathed deeply and said at first it’s a shocker and you automatically feel as if it’s a death sentence, I remember when I was told that I thought I would never ever get to be a father and that really bothered me because my dream was to always be a dad but not only that a great father like the many men I know. When I was administered Chemotherapy it is a drug that destroys your entire body to kill off cancer. I have spent 9 straight hours getting Chemotherapy every 3 weeks and for those who seen what chemotherapy does it’s scary from losing hair weight, my mind, and sanity. My faith and my Circle have honestly kept me goin and that was the only way I honestly survived. Cancer is the hardest thing I’ve ever endured over Iraq trying to make a basketball team graduating from LSU and getting into Howard U, Cancer is Hard and yea as a man I cried weekly and Prayed at night and asked God to heal me to get me through this because I don’t wanna leave this earth because I have so much to fulfill. I pray 🙏 for all those suffering from cancer that you all keep fighting cause it’s tough, I pray whatever obstacles come my way I find some way somehow to battle through it, even though I smile, argue, or laugh, my pain is hidden because I won’t show it.
