Fish fridays snack time - FULL RECIPE 👇 Cod goujons & tartare sauce Ingredients: For the tartar: 2 pickles - finely diced 1 tbsp capers - roughly chopped 1 handful fresh parsley - roughly chopped 1 handful fresh dill - roughly chopped 1 tsp dijon mustard 1 tbsp mayo 1 lemon - zest and juice For the goujons: 2 chunky cod fillets - cut into batons 4 tbsp plain flour 2 eggs - whisked 100g panko breadcrumbs 500ml veg oil Method: Start by making your tartar sauce by combining all ingredients in a bowl and giving it a good mix. Taste for seasoning then set aside. For the goujons, coat each piece in flour then egg then breadcrumbs then set aside. Heat the oil to 170 degrees and place the goujons into the oil until crispy and golden. I like spreading the tartar onto a plate and topping with the fish.
