TORCHERS These troopers wield a more and compact and agile version of the average flamethrower, allowing for more tactical adaptability and advanced maneuvers. These deadly soldiers haven't seen much use ever since the conquering of the island where they were brutally efficient at clearing forests and leveling tribal huts. COMPOSERS Holding earlier version of the infamous Stinger that fired vat-grown Umbra organisms at lighting speeds, a Composer had a dangerous job. The suit had to be bulky and heavy to even keep the soldier on the ground while firing, and the biovat on their backs had to be durable enough to withstand enemy fire, or else the soldier might fall victim to the Umbra. The Composer has since been deserviced due to financial problems and ethical concerns, with the Stinger's development being halted. CHARGERS Sporting a lighter kit and a solar-powered device that allows them to cross great bounds in a single leap, Chargers usually work alone or in pairs of two in sniping and reconnaissance missions. It's not uncommon to see Chargers utilizing the heavy recoil of their energy lancers for extra height in their jumps. Often called "bugs" by their teammates due to their radio antennae atop their helmets. CASTERS Earlier versions of the proton cannon were significantly stronger, but extra dangerous as well. The suit and power tank on the back had to be specially built around the wearer to be able to withstand the shock and conduct the electricity safely in order to avoid it outright killing them. Very risky, but devastating in the field. Has since been swapped out with a more stable and accurate version of the proton cannon. ADVISORS Advisors are the innovators; they're the first ones to get their hands on experimental technology such as shield packs, sentry guns, and assistant drones, Advisors are often viewed as a supporting role in a team. Despite not being suited for such a role, Advisors are more than happy to save their squadron from a hail of gunfire.
