A lot can happen in 5 years and this is how my Instagram journey started 🤯 On the 16th June 2020 I decided to take a leap and start hiking properly after doing so as a kid in the lakes knowing I loved it so much, I started on Helvellyn and made my first Instagram post about hiking and ever since I’ve carried on, back when I posted hiking pages weren’t common and I got stick for doing so as it was cringey and people asked why I was doing it and I only started off with around 1,000 followers. Fast forward 5 years I now have 160,000 followers across all platforms, I’ve met amazing inspiring people, I’ve worked with the biggest outdoor brands, and been able to travel the world and climb mountains I never thought would be possible for me including Ama Dablam in 2024, and summiting Mount Everest only 2 months ago 🏔️ Life is about taking that risk and if your passionate, consistent and put in the hard work you will reap the rewards just as I have and been very lucky, life isn’t about how much money you have it’s about the experiences and I’m extremely grateful sometimes for Instagram and tik tok even though there is a lot I don’t like about the apps and negativity!
