Baloo was the only pet I truly saw as a child rather than animal. He was a beautiful animal but his true beauty was his personality and spirit. A truly happy and beautiful soul whom loved life and all it had to offer. Losing him was one of the most painful moments of my life that I have still been struggling with since his passing. He was truly my soul animal and all that remains are the broken pieces of my heart. Every day is a painful reminder of his absence and how much joy he brought to not only my life but everyone he interacted with. He is the only chinchilla I have owned that absolutely loved people and pets. He never once barked at us out of fear or malice and was extremely sweet and easy to train. I will never see another like him and one of the most painful feelings is knowing how much he loved his life and how short it was cut to no fault of his own.
