I’ve been so hard on myself to show up, be successful, and do it all. I’ve come to realize it’s time to take a step back and recognize and appreciate what’s right infront of me. My husband, my kids, my family and my friends. I’ve made so many amazing connections on here which has been why I’ve struggled so long to come to terms with this. I’ve decided it’s best for me to slow down on social media. I found myself scrolling constantly, trying to find ideas for content. Burning myself out and putting so much pressure on myself to post daily. I can’t do it all and that’s ok. I can’t be a present mom, good wife, and work right now. I need to focus on what matters, and that’s my family and my health. I didn’t realize how much it was affecting my mental health until I put my phone down for a few days. Just know I’m okay and I’ll still post here and there and maybe one day I’ll become just as active as I was but for now this is what I need right now. Acceptance is my biggest goal this year and it is NOT easy. I’m a very determined person but I’m recognizing the constant loop I continue to end up in.
