The NEW Sony 28-70 f2.0 GM 🤌 Stay to the end of the vid for some sample images 📸 / 🎥 This is the new @sonyalpha 28-70 f2.0 GM lens - and it’s the first sub f/2.8 constant aperture zoom lens. It really is like having 3 or 4 primes (a 28, 35, 50, and 70) attached to the camera at the same time. While this lens performed very well, optically, in my experience, I will say, this is a HUGE lens. It’s big and heavy, but that’s what you’re going to get if you want a lens like this - It’s actually 11% smaller and 36% lighter than Canon’s 28-70 f2.0 though, so there’s that! By the way, the Sony A1 II was also announced today…stay tuned for more on that. DISCLOSURE: Sony didn’t pay me to make this vid - they didn’t even ask me to. Building a Cinematic Gimbal Setup 🎥 Here’s a setup I’ve been using lately, that works incredibly well. Super compact but has everything I’d need. I really don’t even need the iPhone monitoring (using Monitor & Control) but it is nice to be able to check focus on a larger screen and utilize tools like waveforms or false color to check exposure. I might not have the magnetic puck linked in Amazon, but if you want it, search for @Moment Marketplace Cold Shoe Mount for Magsafe. Love this thing. My #1 for Content 📷/🎥 The A7IV & 20mm G is my absolute favorite combo for creating sharp, high quality content. Every time I think about changing this setup, I quickly reach the conclusion that there is no better combo for me, for right now. That said, I am in the market for a B cam to replace my A7C.
