🎶✨ Ever wondered what a supernova sounds like? The Tycho Supernova remnant has been transformed into music, thanks to NASA's sonification project! Using data from Chandra, the light from iron, silicon, and sulfur in space is turned into mesmerizing sounds. Imagine hearing the colors of the cosmos, with red creating deep bass notes and blue hitting high, celestial tones. It's a symphony of space! 🌌🎧 Video credit: Chandra X-ray Center (CXC), NASA's Universe of Learning, Dr. Kimberly Arcand (CXC), Dr. Matt Russo, Andrew Santaguida (SYSTEM Sounds project). #NASA #SpaceSounds #ChandraXRay #Supernova #CosmicVibes
Explanation: What does a supernova remnant sound like? Although sound is a compression wave in matter and does not carry into empty space, interpretive sound can help listeners appreciate and understand a visual image of a supernova remnant in a new way. Recently, the Jellyfish Nebula (IC 443) has been sonified quite creatively. In the featured sound-enhanced video, when an imaginary line passes over a star, the sound of a drop falling into water is played, a sound particularly relevant to the nebula's aquatic namesake. Additionally, when the descending line crosses gas that glows red, a low tone is played, while green sounds a middle tone, and blue produces a tone with a relatively high pitch. Light from the supernova that created the Jellyfish Nebula left approximately 35,000 years ago, when humanity was in the stone age. The nebula will slowly disperse over the next million years, although the explosion also created a dense neutron star which will remain indefinitely. #Astronomy #astrophotography #space #astrophoto #nightsky #cosmos #outerspace #universe #starrysky #jellyfish #nebula #sonification

This wow sound was detected by Jerry Ehman. At August 15 1977 the Big Ear Observatory Telescope find something that looks like a comet colliding into a Pulsar. #6EQUJ5 Then at 12:48 o clock in the morning Jerry Ehman draw wow on the signal's print paper making the infamous Wow signal the most mysterious signal from space. the comet was named KOL456893664B and the Pulsar is named PSR946823B. Ehman is confused what happen when they notice that when comet and Pulsar collided it releases Hydrogen clouds that make it louder to hear from space 6EQUJ5 THE FORBIDDEN SIGNAL FROM SPACE THAT IS CALLED WOW SIGNAL DETECTED BY JERRY EHMAN THE LOCATION IS AT OHIO
