Dollar store DIY creepy wall art!! I must admit, this turned out better than I thought it would! The entire project cost less than $4, as I already had most of the supplies on hand. Here’s what you need: 1- skull (dollar store) 2- skeleton hands (dollar store) Frame, I cut out cardboard for the backing Fabric stiffener spray, or liquid starch Cheese cloth Spray paint (not necessary, but I wanted to make it 1 solid color, so I used an off-white paint) Directions: 1) Glue the skull and hands to the cardboard (I used hot glue) 2) Soak cheesecloth in fabric stiffener and ring out excess liquid 3) Drape wet cheesecloth over the skull/hands. Let dry 4) Attach the frame, and wrap the excess fabric around the back of cardboard- secure with tape if needed 5) Lightly spray paint entire surface (if desired, not required) Now hang and enjoy your spooky work of art!! @dollargeneral #halloween #halloweendiy #halloweendecor #halloweendecorations #halloweendecorating #halloweendecorideas #diyhalloweendecorations #diyhalloweendecor #spookydecor #spookyseason #dollarstoredecor #dollarstorediy #halloweendollartree #halloweendollarstore #falldecor #spookyszn #spookyart #skeletondecor #skeletons #hauntedhouse #hauntedhousedecor #instagood #insta #instadaily #follow #easyhalloweendecor #homedecor
DIY Silver Bell Arch Tutorial Here’s the step-by- step tutorial on how I created our giant silver bell arch. Supplies used: -Plastic Planters (we used 16” and 20” planters from Home Depot) -Spade bit to drill holes through planters -Eye nut with bolt (you will need one for each pot -Spray paint (I used Aluminum Silver from Rustoleum) -Ribbon for top of planters -Large ornament and string for inside of bell -Garland (to fill in gaps between bells) -Christmas Lights -Decorative Picks -Lots of zip ties! Directions: 1. We attached a frame around our porch using PVC pipes and hardware cloth. This creates a base to zip tie everything to! 2. DIY Ornament Wreath! It wanted a giant wreath for my front door, so I used a pool noodle (and a small section of a second noodle) to make my circle form. So easy, and I grabbed the noodles from our garage! They had a good season in the pool, now time to put them to better use! What you need: Pool noodle (1-2 depending on how large you want your wreath) Plastic ornaments (I used 2 different sizes) Duct Tape Hot glue Ribbon (to use to hang) Directions: 1) duct tape the end of the noodle together 2) pull off the hook loops from the ornaments 3) start by gluing ornaments around the outside of the noodle. 4) then, glue ornaments around the inside of the noodle. 5) now start gluing ornaments in a random pattern, covering the noodle completely, and even layering ornaments on top of each other. 6) loop a piece of ribbon and tie in a knot around the noodle 7) hang up your wreath using a wreath hanger! Enjoy!!! #christmasdecor #christmas #christmaswreath #christmasdiy #ornamentwreath #holiday #holidaydiy #holidaydecor #holidaydecor #christmasdecorations #easydiy #christmascrafts #follow #insta #instagood #tiktokchristmas
Here’s is an easy hack for hanging wreaths on your kitchen cabinets! No need to use damaging tape or screws!! What you need: Mini wreaths Ribbon to hang Hot glue Command strips- mini hooks Measuring tape Directions: 1) measure your cabinet height and decide what length ribbon you need to cut 2) glue the end of the ribbon to the back of the wreath 3) measure the width of your cabinet and make a tiny pencil mark on the inside of the cabinet- marking the center 4) install the command hook *hook facing down* to the center of the inside of the cabinet (be sure you don’t install at the very top, or you won’t be able to close your cabinet) I installed it at the top of the panel. 5) fold the ribbon in half, and cut a tiny slit - this will be where the hook will go 6) slide the hook into the slit- that’s it!! For extra hold- you can add a tiny piece of duct tape on top of the hook/slit. #christmasdecor #christmas #christmaskitchen #christmaswreath #christmashacks #christmashome #christmashomedecor #christmasdiy #holidaydecor #ilovechristmas #easyhack
Here’s how we made our spooky arch. 💀 🎃 1) I made a frame using PVC piping and attached hardware cloth with zipties. 2) Next, I strung some lights to the back - before attaching it to my porch pillars - using 36” cable ties all the way around Make sure your frame is nice and secure. 3) Then I took some leaf garland (6 -8 ) - and attached them around the frame 4) I painted all of pumpkins black, then drilled holes in the back of each one to weave the zipties through and attach to the frame. I repeated that step with these dollar store skulls 5) I took some 3’ posable skeletons and placed them around the arch, securing them with..more zipties! 6) Last, I took some c9 bulbs and stuffed them in the back of each pumpkin Now we’re ready for spooky season! #halloween #halloweendecor #pumpkinarch #halloweendiy #halloweenporch #pumpkinarch
