This is easier said than done… But this is what I’ve learned about starting to post content: 1. Post anything related to what you know how to do. If you don’t feel confident, just share what you’re learning and your thoughts on what you’re working on. 2. It’s nice to have someone to talk things out with and give you feedback, but it’s possible to do this on your own. Try to emulate the types of post that you like and that you think are successful. 3. Make what you do engaging. People have short attention spans and if you’re doing a video, something needs to happen every couple of things. 4. Having great work is important but connecting with your community allows you to become a part of their lives and they’ll remember you when considering work opportunities in the future. By posting, you’re reminding them you exist. It’s perfectly normal not be a superstar right away in your career! John Williams got his big break as a film composer many years after he began his career in music. He started out as a pianist and worked his way up through the industry before getting bigger opportunities. 4. Be bold! JW’s film scores are extremely memorable and are some of the most popular in all of film music history. 5.
