Have kids they said…it’ll be fine they said…🫠 In all actuality being a mom (a black single mom) is one of the most challenging things I’ve had to do… I got judged when I started dancing to be able to afford them the finer things in life…yet no one would dare help me financially I was told I wouldn’t find a “high value man” since I had 2 kids by 2 different men and was a single mom…ironically I was told this by men who were raised by single moms themselves who were usually broke…AND broken. (That’s weird) Then I started a business which took so much time away from them …I got judged and told that they would hate me…yet they still love me. People told me I was selfish and crazy for always putting MYSELF before my children because I’m the one that has to live with me for the rest of my life…yet this was told to me by people who’s children grow up to disrespect and loathe them… If I’ve been absent it’s just because I’ve been taking time to slow down …which I do every year around this time to enjoy and be present with my loved ones who bend and mold to my hectic lifestyle. Tomorrow is Juneteenth and my 6 year biz-a-versary … I couldn’t thank God enough for the JOURNEY because that’s the part you’re supposed to fall in love with. Don’t let the opinions of others stop you from doing what your heart leads you to. I’m rich in life because I’m at peace and I’ve built a business that allows me the freedom to be present without asking for permission. Happy biz-a-versary Coach ki!
