@Sonimus Audio delayson free delay plugin it’s super nice and straight forward easy to grab and get good sounds I miss with this one and love some of their other plugins.

Groove is everything and the most important groove of all to the listener is always the vocal, the listener doesn’t hear music how the people that create music do they fundamentally latch on to the vocal to guide them through the song so the vocals gotta groove it’s gotta provide that framework that moves the song forward!
Art is for the strong, who are willing to confront themselves and the world around us. Being in music seriously is beyond full time, it takes all of you and can never lead to an escape from it all.
Lyrics should be embrassing, cringey, too much, or any version of that concept you can imagine. The power of songs and rhe song writer comes from the willinginess to be honest and real in the public space. A huge part of the realness is to simply sing whatever happens to be in you at that time and whats inside all of is messy, doesnt always make sense and are the things that dont always feel safe to express in public.

I absolutely believe this and everything else I say.
Im a firm believer that being an artist is a transformative act in which you dissolve the abstracts you’re taught to believe about yourself and live in service to the art you make, not the other way around. The greatest artists regardless of their material wealth, live and embrace a non normative existence and largely eschew the abstracts projected upon us about who we are, or can accomplish. I believe this is one of if not the most important step in moving towards a state where your art moves through and out of you without resistance.
The search for commercially acceptable music often ends up in stuff that’s totally bland and totally uninspired, but now when I hear that I just start to assume it might be A.I. and to me music is sacred, truly a gift from the beyond and I have little interest in machine generated “expression” and it’s not expression at all cause the ai models don’t mean anything cause they don’t think or feel anything!!! Make your music human, rough, not perfect not “right” it’s the only way anyone will know you and/or other humans did it.
