Today, as part of our Women’s Month celebrations, we brought together young women from schools across the Cape Flats for a powerful day of mentorship, sport, and unity. This was made possible through partnership between my office as Subcouncil Chairperson, our committed Law Enforcement School Resource Officers who work daily to keep our learners safe, and the inspiring Bonteheuwel Walking Ladies. Together, we didn’t just play netball – we created hope, built confidence, and showed our young women that they are the future of our city, our communities, and our country. I remain unwavering in my commitment – not only to keeping our schools and young women safe – but to doing everything in my power to help them rise, lead, and soar. 🌸💪🏽 The lesson is simple: while others complain, we build.
