To my fellow CPTSD babes, this sound really got me right in the feels. It matches a lot of the underlying feelings behind my CPTSD: the hypervigilance, the OCD, the loss of sense of self. It’s taken awhile for me to stop constantly feeling like there is “another shoe” that’s going to drop. Because that’s all I was used to for 20+ years. Happiness was not safe. Peace was not safe.
