blink-182 - NINE (2019) This album is overlooked at by a lot of blink-182 fans. There are amazing tracks on this record, still paying homage to their punk roots. “The First Time” is the perfect opener to the album, starting off strong with the drums and guitar right out of the gate. “I Really Wish I Hated You” got a bit of recognition on rock radios and channels. The drums on “Generational Divide” from @Travis Barker are out of this world. The lyrics are usual blink type lyrics, focusing on topics of women and hangovers basically. “Hungover You” shows that really well, acting as a double meaning, the hangover being both alcohol and women. This record has great guitar tones as well, really bringing out the punk. At the outro, there are four bass guitars being played. A Fender bass VI, a Fender Precision bass doing two different things, and a Roland Synth Bass, that sounds like a keyboard.
