“I Think We Forget How Beautiful Humans Can Be” #music Music has a unique power to stir our emotions by activating specific pathways in the auditory cortex. When we hear a melody or rhythm, our brain deciphers the intricate combinations of sound frequencies, harmonies, and tempos, translating them into feelings like joy, sadness, or nostalgia. It’s as though the auditory cortex becomes a pianist, striking the right keys in the perfect sequence to evoke a deeply personal emotional response. This ability stems from music’s capacity to engage multiple areas of the brain simultaneously—memory, reward, and even motor functions—creating a rich, multi-layered experience. Whether it’s a soothing ballad or an energetic beat, music taps into our emotional core, playing the notes of our mind in a way that words alone often cannot. #emotions #musical #humans
This is how you help your baby develop the auditory cortex of the brain. Because it is responsible for a variety of sounds, music and LANGUAGE perception, from the early stage you can prepare your baby and improve their skills in learning more languages quickly or playing different instruments. #babydevelopment #babyauditorydevelopment #auditoryprocessing #auditorycortex #babybraindevelopment #babybrain #babyactivities #musictherapylife #musictherapy #musicforbabies

🔊 How do we hear? The journey of sound through the ear explained in 3D The auditory system is a fascinating structure that transforms sound waves into meaningful information. 👂 It all starts in the outer ear – the auricle captures acoustic waves, directing them through the external auditory canal to the eardrum. The vibrations then pass through the middle ear, where three tiny bones—malleus, incus, and stapes—amplify the sound and transmit it to the inner ear via the oval window. 🌀 In the inner ear, the cochlea takes over. Here, mechanical vibrations excite the organ of Corti, which contains hair cells that convert sound into electrical impulses. These signals travel via the vestibulocochlear nerve (cranial nerve VIII) to the auditory cortex of the brain, where sound is analyzed and recognized. This complex process allows us to perceive speech, music, and the world around us! Want to explore the auditory system in 3D?
