For anyone who doesn't know this level is basically just fully randomised wave gameplay that changes every attempt. It's actually pretty hard since u can't rely at all on muscle memory, only ur sightreading and wave skills. Diamond Dance wasn't too bad but man 66p was so fvcking hard. It's crazy how people can do that from 0 on Sakupen Circles. I got pretty unlucky with 66p with 5 deaths after the doubles but 4 of those deaths were in the space of like half an hour so it didn't really matter. Man what an absolute banger level. I wanted to beat a special winter themed level for Christmas and I also wanted a break from Oblivion so I thought now would be the perfect time to do so. I remembered watching Npesta's 12 demons of Christmas video on Frozen Cave last year which gave me the idea to try it for myself. I absolutely love this level and I didn't think I would at first because the gameplay is so weird and gimmicky. But the deco and song just work so perfectly with the intensity of the level especially at the drop. The orb ship is definitely my favourite ship I've ever played in this entire game, it's really hard to learn but it's so fun and satisfying to pull off once you get it. This level does definitely have its flaws though like the black orb at 18% is actually so bad and the 8% pink orb is also pretty annoying. The practically blind ufo click at the start of the drop is also awful but I actually got pretty consistent at it. A lot of people don't like Flash's part but I actually really enjoyed it aside from the fact that I was horribly inconsistent at the dual. Overall I had a lot of fun with this level despite getting 2 ending deaths (one being 97%) and countless orb ship deaths. I'll probably get back to grinding Oblivion now unless I decide I wanna do something else. New second hardest. This challenge is just 66-100 on the impossible level Subsuming Vortex, which is honestly one of my favourite levels in the game. This run is actually really fun aside from the rng release at 33 and the impossible click at 42. Beating Duelo Maestro solo because I have no friends. Fr tho beating this level was one of the most fun things I've done in this game. Learning the asymmetrical drop was easily the most difficult learning experience I've ever had in the game, beats any memory level that I've played. Like learning to control 2 separated icons at once is hard asf but it gets very consistent once u figure it out.
