Yamaha R1 2005 with pops and bangs ? I heard many that is nearly impossible to do a pops and bangs effect on this bike due to the extremely long exhaust system ! Well, is not impossible, it is harder but definitely not impossible! We managed to gain another 6BHP going from 143 RWBHP to 149BHP Jj1349 correction factor and we are very pleased with the gains . This lovely Husqvarna 701 SM 2018 came in to us with a very unresponsive throttle symptom after the customer replaced his exhaust system. Upon initial testing the bike was running at around 16 AFR pretty much on all the throttle opening range, and the bike would just struggle to respond well .As we removed the restrictions and optimised the fuelling , the throttle response became fantastic and the bike runs very smoothly and responsive . Fantastic low/ mid range gains on this bike , in some areas even 10-14 bhp and loads of torque . Unfortunately he also struggled to find a place that can tune this bike as majority of the tuning centres which offer mapping and tuning services only use Woolich racing , which in my opinion is still the best combination of hardware / software combination , we work now with a different infrastructure also which is giving us the option to serve all the customers which have bikes that Woolich racing does not cover . Therefore, now we can do majority of the makes and models of bikes . Woolich racing is still our first choice otherwise, and that’s what we use to tune majority of the bikes but if we have customers which have bikes that are not covered by woolich racing , we can now serve them 💪 .
