How to play repeated notes! First of all there are two kinds of repeated notes: those played up to a moderate speed and those played very quickly and brilliantly . In this video I will talk about the second type. Basically we need to use the quickest finger action that we have in our arsenal and this is the movement of pulling the finger towards the palm. The finger comes from above in a natural, non curved manner, and then you just do this quick “string pulling” movement which will bring the finger under the palm.The thumb of course cannot play like that so just use a quick motion (quick release) of the thumb.
