‘Warmer Setting’ Bit of a personal note for those of you who read my captions 🤍 I genuinely think this is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard in such a long time. Every time I hear it come up it makes me cry - usually because it’s being used over pet loss videos at the moment. I’m not sure if I shared on here, but me and my mum lost our little cat Tilly back in December (I can’t believe it’s been 3 months without her). I always knew her loss would hurt, like, a lot - but not this much. I literally do think of her all the time - and it’s felt a little harder recently. Loosing a pet is so strange as I believe you’re expected to feel like it’s not a big deal, so I feel like I’ve had to hold in my grief a little. I’m lucky to have multiple people in my life who do understand, and have checked in, but my honest thoughts on it? Even if you don’t understand pet loss, and can’t understand why it upsets someone so deeply, at least understand that they’re hurting, it shouldn’t matter why. 13 years of loving Tilly, (well having her, we will love her forever). sunsets always remind me of the beautiful things in my life - so this one is for her.
