Did you know that July 22nd is World Fragile X day. Of course I’m a day late because that’s life while raising fragile X children. 😝 Emmett was diagnosed at 18months old with Fragile X Syndrome shortly after his older sister was also tested and officially got her diagnosis a month later. My world completely turned upside down. The year 2017 was such a blurred for me I don’t recall much from it except that it changed us in so many ways and will continue to for the rest of our lives. But here we are 7 years later navigating this journey. The same year I decided to start sharing our life and OurFragileXlife was born that’s a how I came up with the name for my blog and all things when advocating for Fragile X. Sharing our journey with all of you has been one of the greatest decisions. It healed me 💚Seeing all the amazing FX community and realizing I am not alone in this journey has definitely helped me along the way and will continue to do so. Love you all!!
